Seton Tuning Ltd. ''(pronounced Seat-on)'' is a Colchester based motorcycle and race preparation company. Seton Tuning has a partnership with Linxcel Europe Limited named Linxcel-Seton Tuning Motorcycle Race Team which is currently running in The British Supersport 600 Championship. History Phil Seton, Is a team owner and the director of Seton Tuning. He won the MRO Supersport 600 Championship in 2006 and is responsible for the machines that won the same championship in 2007 and 2008. Dean Ellison
Dean Bruce Ellison (born 14 November 1977 in Lancaster, Lancashire) is a former motorcycle racer from Britain. Ellison is the older brother of former Moto GP and current British Superbike rider James Ellison. Early career Ellison started racing in 1996. In 1997 he entered the Superteen British Championship, finishing the season with a number of podiums. In 1998 he competed in the Aprilia 250cc Challenge, regularly finishing in the top five. Halfway through the season he was offered the chance to ride in the 250cc British Championship for D&B Racing, which at the time was his dream. After proving that Ellison could be a contender in the British Championship, D&B owner Danny Gallacher asked him to ride his new 250cc Honda in the 1999 championship. Hudson Kennaugh (born 12 January 1981) is a South African professional motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the British National Superstock 1000 championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He is a former South African Superbike champion, he rode the 2009 British Supersport Championship, for the Linxcel-Seton Tuning Team. His surname is of Manx descent and is pronounced 'Ken-Oh'.(Although, the surname on the Isle of Man is pronounced as 'Kenyk' rather like the word 'cognac' only starting with 'ken' rather than 'con') Early years Born in Natal, South Africa, Kennaugh began racing mini-moto aged 5, winning the Junior South African Motocross championship in 1993. British Supersport Championship
British Supersport Championship is a support series to the British Superbike Championship (BSB) for engine capacities smaller than Superbike. British Supersport runs one or two rounds per weekend at each BSB event. The BSS championship is seen as a stepping stone for the younger talent to progress to the British Superbike Championship or to World level classes. Yamaha YZF-R6
The Yamaha YZF-R6 is a sport bike, produced by Yamaha as a 600 class from 1999 to 2020. From 2021, production availability is limited to race-only specification in most global markets, causing race organisers to re-align their engine eligibility criteria to encourage other manufacturers having larger than 600 cc displacements to enter road-race competition from 2022.
