Hudson Kennaugh
Hudson Kennaugh (born 12 January 1981) is a South African professional motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the British National Superstock 1000 championship aboard a BMW S1000RR. He is a former South African Superbike champion, he rode the 2009 British Supersport Championship, for the Linxcel-Seton Tuning Team. His surname is of Manx descent and is pronounced 'Ken-Oh'.(Although, the surname on the Isle of Man is pronounced as 'Kenyk' rather like the word 'cognac' only starting with 'ken' rather than 'con') Early years Born in Natal, South Africa, Kennaugh began racing mini-moto aged 5, winning the Junior South African Motocross championship in 1993. Jonathan "Jon" Ekerold (born 8 October 1946) is a South African former professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ekerold is one of the few racers in the modern era to have won a world championship as a privateer without the benefit of a motorcycle manufacturer's support when he defeated Kawasaki factory racing team rider Anton Mang for the 1980 350cc Grand Prix road racing world championship. 2011 British Superbike Championship
The 2011 British Superbike season was the 24th British Superbike Championship season. No major rules were changed from the previous year with the showdown section of the season staying and the continuation of the evolution class below the main superbike class. The field had greater quality than the year before with champion Ryuichi Kiyonari returning to defend his title on the HM Plant Honda alongside the returning former British superbike champion Shane Byrne. This meant that Josh Brookes moved onto the lone Relentless by TAS Suzuki, with Michael Laverty and Tommy Hill moving to a new swan Yamaha team. The Aprilia RSV4 is a super bike manufactured by Aprilia. The RSV4 is Aprilia's flagship model. Aprilia offers two models of the bike: the RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R limited edition (only 350). Chris Martin (born 24 January 1981) is a British superbike rider who is currently competing in the British Superbike Championship for the Gearlink Kawasaki team. Martin is a previous British Superbike Privateers Cup Champion in 2006. Career Starting Out Martin started out doing the 125cc Aprilia challenge, spending 3 years between 1997-99. Martin then spent 3 years in the British 125cc Championship from 2000 to 2003.
