Phantom Doctrine
''Phantom Doctrine'' is a turn-based strategy video game developed by Polish studio CreativeForge Games and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment in 2018. It is inspired by classic spy films and conspiracy theories. Plot Set in 1983, ''Phantom Doctrine'' takes place in an alternative Cold War where brainwashing is a real danger and secret organizations control the world. The player-character is a former agent of the CIA, KGB or Mossad who learns of a global conspiracy called "The Beholder Initiative". Beholder is working on "Project Iceberg", a plot to achieve world domination. Project Iceberg will use computers to decrypt and alter government communications in real time, making societal manipulation effortless. The player-character forms a team called "The Cabal" in order to fight Beholder. The Cabal recruits members, pursues leads and foils various Beholder projects, while being hunted by Beholder in turn. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
