Alfred Manuel "Bobby" Petta (born 6 August 1974) is a Dutch association football, footballer who played as a left Midfielder#Winger, winger. Formed at Feyenoord, he spent most of his career in Britain, most notably with Ipswich Town of the Football League First Division and Celtic F.C., Celtic of the Scottish Premier League. He also had a loan at Fulham F.C., Fulham in the Premier League in 2004, and several years in the Australian A-League with Adelaide United and Sydney FC. Francesco Miano-Petta (born April 12, 1979, in Naples) is a retired amateur Italian freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's super heavyweight category. He won two bronze medals in the 120-kg division at the Mediterranean Games (2005 and 2009), and finished tenth at the 2004 Summer Olympics, representing his nation Italy. Having worked as a police officer for Polizia di Stato, Miano-Petta trained full-time for the wrestling squad at VVF Padula in Naples, under head coach Luigi Marigliano. Miano-Petta qualified for the Italian squad in the men's 120 kg class at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Julia Petta
Julia Buccola Petta (1892 – March 17, 1921) was a housewife who became known following her death as The Italian Bride. She was the daughter of Filomena Buccola and the wife of Matthew Petta. She died at the age of 29 in 1921 while giving birth to a stillborn son, Filippo. Burial Following her death, Petta was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in the Chicago, Illinois suburb of Hillside. Petta was buried in her wedding dress. According to legend, soon after Petta's death, her mother Filomena began experiencing dreams in which Petta was telling her that she was still alive. No contemporary source has been found to back up the legend; according to her great grandchildren, Filomena's nightmares may have started about five years later, when the family moved to Los Angeles. Nicholas Pettas (born January 23, 1973, in Mykonos) is a Greek-Danish karateka, former heavyweight kickboxer and actor, who fought out of Team Spirit AE in Tokyo, Japan. Pettas mainly competed in the promotion K-1 between 1998 and 2007, and was the winner of the K-1 Japan Grand Prix 2001. Although an undersized heavyweight, Pettas is known for his powerful low kicks and holds notable victories over Yusuke Fujimoto, Nobu Hayashi, Musashi, Gökhan Saki and Péter Varga. Nikolaos "Nikos" Pettas (Greek: Νικόλαος "Νίκος" Πέττας; born February 28, 1981) is a Greek professional basketball player. He is a 6 ft 4 in (1.95 m) tall shooting guard-small forward. ''Petta'' () is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast featuring Simran, M. Sasikumar, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Malavika Mohanan, Mahendran, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in supporting roles.
