Peter Hooper (2 February 1933 – 13 August 2011) was a professional footballer, who played for Bristol Rovers, Cardiff City and Bristol City in the Football League. Teignmouth
Teignmouth ( ) is a seaside town, fishing port and civil parish in the English county of Devon. It is situated on the north bank of the estuary mouth of the River Teign, about 12 miles south of Exeter. The town had a population of 14,749 at the last census in 2011. Stroud, Gloucestershire
Stroud is a market town and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. It is the main town in Stroud District. The town's population was 13,500 in 2021. Below the western escarpment of the Cotswold Hills, at the meeting point of the Five Valleys, the town is noted for its steep streets. The Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounds the town, and the Cotswold Way path passes by it to the west. The Uganda national football team (nicknamed ''The Cranes''), represents Uganda in men's international football and is controlled by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, which is a part of CAF. Their best finish in the Africa Cup of Nations was second in 1978. History The Uganda national football team made its debut on 1 May 1926 against Kenya drawing 1–1. They qualified for their debut in the Africa Cup of Nations in 1962, the third edition of the tournament, which included only four teams. In the semi-finals, Uganda was defeated and eliminated by the United Arab Republic (2–1), and then lost the third place match against Tunisia (3–0).
