Peter Hackett (Australian Racing Driver)
Peter Hackett is an Australian Endurance Championship GT race driver and driving instructor. He was born in Sydney, resides in Melbourne and has competed in varying Australian motor racing categories since 2000, but has particularly focused on the Australian Endurance Championship in recent years. After his win at the 2017 Hampton Downs Motorsport Park event, Hackett joined " David Wall and the late Allan Simonsen as the most successful drivers in Australian GT history, with 17-victories to their names." Early Years Hackett's first forays into motor racing were not in his home country of Australia, but rather the United Kingdom. David Wall (racing Driver)
David Wall (born 1 January 1983) is an Australian racing driver competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship. He currently drives the No. 38 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for Wall Racing. Biography As the son of long-time Sports Sedan racer and 2009 Kerrick Sports Sedan Series winner Des Wall, he started in sedan cars rather the conventional formula cars. His mainstay has been sports car racing, particularly Porsches. He has won the Australian GT Championship twice in 2009 and 2010 driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup S Type 997 as well as competed in the Australian Carrera Cup Championship. The British Formula Ford Championship was an entry level single seater motor racing category, designed to give racing drivers their first step into car racing after karting. Drivers from around the world were attracted to the United Kingdom to compete in the series, and successful Formula One drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Jenson Button won their first single-seater titles in the championship. Grant Craig Denyer (born 12 September 1977) is an Australian television and radio presenter and motor racing driver, who has worked for several television networks, including Seven Network and Network 10, mostly serving as a presenter. The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. Australian Formula 2, sometimes abbreviated to AF2 or ANF2, is a "wings and slicks" formula racing category in Australia. The category is one of Australia's oldest, dating back to 1964. The current format of AF2 was introduced in 1978.
