Peter Freeman (May 29, 1965 – March 16, 2021) was an American bassist, composer, and record producer. Based in his studio in Los Angeles, he worked on records, live performance, and film and television soundtracks. He was primarily known for his association with avant-garde composer and trumpet-player Jon Hassell. He was also a regular contributor to ''Electronic Musician'' during the 80s and 90s. Biography Freeman began his professional musical career in 1983 as a bassist with Indian electric violinist L. Shankar. From there, he became involved with mainstream musicians, touring with Seal and Pierce Turner, playing with John Cale, Alanis Morissette, Nile Rodgers, Shawn Colvin, Sussan Deyhim, Elliott Sharp. He was a close musical collaborator with Jon Hassell for over 25 years. Peter Freeman (born 1 April 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and West Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Playing in a number of positions in both the forward and back lines, Freeman played five games for St Kilda, debuting against in round 15 of the 1988 season. He also finished runner-up in the club's reserves best and fairest in 1989. He was delisted by St Kilda at the end of the 1991 AFL season, but was subsequently drafted by the West Coast Eagles with the 42nd pick in the 1991 National Draft. 48 Peter Freeman

Peter Freeman (19 October 1888 – 19 May 1956) was a British Labour Party politician, tennis champion, animal rights activist, theosophist and vegetarian. Biography Freeman was born on 19 October 1888 in London, one of nine children of George James Freeman who was in the tobacco industry. He was educated at the Haberdashers' School before entering the family business and he became managing directory of the Freeman factory in Cardiff, Wales. He was a noted lawn tennis player and won the Welsh Championship in 1919 and was also described as an expert swimmer. He was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for Brecon and Radnorshire at the 1929 general election, defeating the Conservative MP Walter D'Arcy Hall by only 187 votes. When Labour split at the 1931 general election over Ramsay MacDonald's formation of a National Government, D'Arcy Hall retook the seat with a majority of over 8,000. Peter Anthony Freeman is a Welsh author, politician and storyteller. Career Freeman was heavily involved with the Welsh community in Los Angeles where he was President of the Welsh League of Southern California, won the Los Angeles Eisteddfod Honorary Recognition for Bardic Achievements in 2013, and wrote several books on Welsh culture. Freeman also served as History and Mythology Editor of Celtic Family Magazine from 2013 to 2015. In 2017 he was elected a council member for Plaid Cymru in Pembrey, Wales. In April 2019, Freeman was elected and accepted the position of Mayor of Pembrey and Burry Port.
