Performance 2007 Tour
Two months before the release of their fifth full-length album, ''Year Zero'', industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails began a new tour, officially called Performance 2007. The tour initially started off as a 'best-of' tour (since no songs from ''Year Zero'' were played at the first few days) but later transformed into a direct ''Year Zero'' support tour. Prior to the beginning of the tour, Trent Reznor in an interview described it as an opportunity to play with the same line-up again, visiting some places the band did not play in before and revisiting music from all the different areas of Nine Inch Nails rather than focusing entirely on the new album. The production on this tour was minimal so the heaviest setlist rotation in the band's history occurred, covering about 50 songs from all their albums. Songlist Band line-up *Trent Reznor – Lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, tambourine, mbira *Aaron North – Guitar, keyboards, backup vocals *Jeordie White – Bass guitar, guita ...

Nine Inch Nails
Nine Inch Nails, commonly abbreviated as NIN and stylized as NIИ, is an American industrial rock band formed in Cleveland in 1988. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Trent Reznor was the only permanent member of the band until his frequent collaborator, Atticus Ross, joined in 2016. The band's debut album, ''Pretty Hate Machine'' (1989), was released via TVT Records. After disagreeing with TVT about how to promote the album, the band signed with Interscope Records and released the EP ''Broken'' (1992). The following albums, '' The Downward Spiral'' (1994) and '' The Fragile'' (1999), were released to critical acclaim and commercial success. Following a hiatus, Nine Inch Nails resumed touring in 2005 and released the album '' With Teeth'' (2005). Following the release of the album ''Year Zero'' (2007), the band left Interscope after a feud. Nine Inch Nails continued touring and independently released '' Ghosts I–IV'' (2008) and ''The Slip'' (2008) b ...

Aaron North
Aaron Wright North (born March 22, 1979) is an American musician. He was the co-founder and guitarist of punk band The Icarus Line, a touring lead guitarist of industrial rock group Nine Inch Nails, and vocalist/guitarist for Jubilee. North is noted for his chaotic and unconventional guitar approach, his use and command of feedback, and the flailing of his guitar wildly while on stage. His reputation for being outspoken both on and off the stage resulted in equal criticism and praise from fans and music journalists, mainly due to his role as co-founder and owner of Buddyhead. More infamously, it also landed him in substantial legal trouble numerous times. The Buddyhead music website was an outlet for his ruthlessly opinionated writing, as well as the many notable interviews he conducted with the likes of Kevin Shields and Greg Ginn. North's creation of Buddyhead Records later extended to his recording and producing many of their bands. Among the groups he signed or issued relea ...

Self Destruct Tour
The Self Destruct Tour was a concert tour in support of industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails' album ''The Downward Spiral'', which took place in early 1994, running until mid-1996, and was broken into eight legs. Overview The tour was filmed for the '' Closure'' documentary that documented live performances as well as the band from 1989–1991. The second tape in the set – issued in late 1997 – featured the band's music videos. A DVD version, featuring bonus content, was planned for 2005. However, licensing issues forced an indefinite delay. An alleged "prototype" of the DVDs eventually leaked to torrent websites in 2006. This release has been attributed to Trent Reznor himself. This was Nine Inch Nails' first tour since the early 1990s shows for Pretty Hate Machine. During this time, NIN's music became angrier and more aggressive via '' Broken'' and ''The Downward Spiral'', which led to the concerts being often violent and personal, with band members injuring themselves. We're In This Together (Nine Inch Nails Song)
"We're in This Together" is a song by industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails released in 1999. It is the 15th official Nine Inch Nails release and is a single for the album '' The Fragile''. It was released as a three-disc single (also known as a "triple single"). Background According to ''The Fragile'' contributor Keith Hillebrandt, "the whole song started from something eznoractually played at the end of another track ... he wrote it up into an entirely new song". The lyrics seem to be inspired by David Bowie's song " ‘Heroes’" from the same-named 1977 album, such as with the line "You're the queen and I'm the king" and describing two people trying to fight against an ominous and seemingly unstoppable force. Bowie, who is recognized as one of Reznor's greatest influences, is given a special thanks credit in the liner notes of ''The Fragile''. MTV's Gil Kaufman described the song as "a seven-minute-plus cathartic pop song with somewhat hopeful lyrics over a plodding hip- ...

Programming (music)
Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. These musical sounds are created through the use of music coding languages. There are many music coding languages of varying complexity. It gained popularity in the 1950s and has been emerging ever since.
