People's Voice Party
The People's Voice Party (Turkish ''Halkın Sesi Partisi'', abbreviated HSP but using the self-styled abbreviation ''HAS PARTİ'', which literally means "PURE PARTY") was a religious conservative political party in Turkey. It was founded on 1 November 2010 by Numan Kurtulmuş and dissolved on 19 September 2012. In September 2012, after less than two years, an extraordinary party congress decided to dissolve the party and join the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). Numan Kurtulmuş
Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş (born 23 March 1959) is a Turkish politician and academician, currently the deputy chairman of Justice and Development Party. He served as Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey in the 62nd, 63rd, 64th and 65th AKP governments between 2014 and 2017 and Minister of Culture and Tourism between 2017 and 2018. Previously he served as the leader of Felicity Party between 2008 and 2010 and People's Voice Party between 2010 and 2012. Personal life Family Kurtulmuş was born in Ünye district of Ordu Province. He is of Georgian descent by his grandmother. Felicity Party
The Felicity Party ( tr, Saadet Partisi, SP) is an Islamist Turkish political party. It was founded in 2001, and mainly supported by conservative Muslims in Turkey. It was founded on 20 July 2001 after the Virtue Party (FP) was banned by the Constitutional Court. While the party's reformist wing formed the Justice and Development Party (AKP), the hardliners founded the Felicity Party. Although an Islamist party, its policy platform covers the whole span of political issues in Turkey. The Felicity Party's vote has been weakened by the success of the moderately Islamic Justice and Development Party government, although it has repeatedly condemned the Turkish government's desire to join the European Union, military ties with Israel and the United States. Justice And Development Party (Turkey)
The Justice and Development Party ( tr, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, ; AKP), abbreviated officially AK Party in English, is a political party in Turkey self-describing as conservative-democrat.
