Peep Lassmann
Peep Lassmann (born 19 March 1948 in Tartu) is an Estonian pianist trained at the Moscow Conservatory under Emil Gilels who has served as the rector of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre since 1992. He has performed the Estonian premieres of Olivier Messiaen's '' Vingt regards sur l'enfant-Jésus'' and ''Catalogue d'oiseaux ''Catalogue d'oiseaux'' ("Catalogue of birds") is a work for piano solo by Olivier Messiaen consisting of thirteen pieces, written between October 1956 and September 1958. Tartu
Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia after the Northern European country's political and financial capital, Tallinn. Tartu has a population of 91,407 (as of 2021).
