Pearu Paulus (, born 3 November 1967) is an Estonian singer. He has participated in competition "Kaks takti ette". In 1994 he participated in Eurolaul (with Hedvig Hanson Hedvig Hanson (born 22 April 1975 in Tartu) is an Estonian jazz vocalist. In 1993, she won the music Eesti Televisioon (ETV) singing competition '' Kaks takti ette''. Hedvig Hanson's mother is singer Novella Hanson and her father is actor and ...); although their song "Kallim kullast" didn't win the competition, the song was chosen as "public favourite". He has been a member of the band 2 Quick Start. Estonia In The Eurovision Song Contest 1994
The Eurovision Song Contest 1994 was the second time that Estonia had attempted to enter the contest, having failed to qualify from the semi-final stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 1993. The pre-selection process featured multiple artists for the first time, with Silvi Vrait's "Nagu merelaine" being selected by the judging panel to represent the nation in Ireland. In the contest, however, Vrait would place 24th second and last, receiving only two points in the scoring process and only beating fellow Baltic nation Lithuania. Before Eurovision Eurolaul 1994 The final took place in Tallinn, Estonia on 26 February 1994, and was hosted by Reet Oja and Guido Kangur. Hedvig Hanson (born 22 April 1975 in Tartu) is an Estonian jazz vocalist. In 1993, she won the music Eesti Televisioon (ETV) singing competition '' Kaks takti ette''. Hedvig Hanson's mother is singer Novella Hanson and her father is actor and singer Tõnu Kilgas. Her half-sister is actress Piret Krumm. Hanson's paternal grandparents were actors Ellen Kaarma and Lembit Mägedi. 2 Quick Start is an Estonian band, created in 1992. In the 1990s, the band was one of the most notable dance music groups in Estonia. In 2001, the band took an award in the "best band of the year" category at the Estonian Music Awards.
