Payala Lake Ghazi Ghat
Payala or Piyala Lake Ghazi Ghat (Urdu پیالہ جھیل غازی گھاٹ) is an artificial lake situated near Ghazi Ghat on Indus River near Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is being developed for tourism purposes in Southern Punjab. Due to its bowl shape and deep water body, known as Pyala means bowl in Urdu language. Dera Ghazi Khan District
Dera Ghazi Khan (Urdu and pnb, , Saraiki: , bal, ڈیرہ غازی خان) is a district in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Its capital is the town of Dera Ghazi Khan. Most of its inhabitants are Saraikis and Baloch. The district lies to the west of the Indus River. The Sulaiman Mountains rise to a height of in the north of the district. Administration The district is divided into three tehsils which are divided into a total of sixty Union Councils: History The city was founded at the close of the 15th century and named after Nawab Ghazi Khan Mirani, son of Nawab Haji Khan Mirani, a Balochi chieftain, who had declared independence from the Langah Dynasty's Sultans of Multan. Fort Munro
Fort Munro (Urdu, Punjabi: ), formerly known as Muree of south Punjab, Loilaresir, and Anari Mool in Balochi language, is a hill station which is located at a height of above sea level in D. G Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan. It was developed by British in the late 19th-century as a summer hill town. Named after commissioner Multan division Colonel (later Major-General) Munro. It attracts many people for short stays during the hot summer. It is around 85 kilometres from Dera Ghazi Khan city, Punjab, Pakistan and about 185 kilometres from Multan in Sulaiman Mountain range.
