Paweł Raczkowski
Paweł Krzysztof Raczkowski (born 10 May 1983) is a Polish football referee who officiates in the Ekstraklasa. He has been a FIFA referee since 2013, and is ranked as a UEFA first category referee. Refereeing career In 2010, Raczkowski began officiating in the Ekstraklasa. His first match as referee was on 8 August 2010 between Śląsk Wrocław and Jagiellonia Białystok. In 2013, he was put on the FIFA referees list. His first match as a FIFA referee came on 26 March 2013 between Germany and Bulgaria in the 2013 UEFA European Under-17 Championship elite round. Raczkowski refereed his first UEFA club competition match on 18 July 2013 in the Europa League second qualifying round between Irtysh Pavlodar and Široki Brijeg. In association football, an assistant referee (previously known as a linesman or lineswoman) is an official empowered with assisting the referee (association football), referee in enforcing the Laws of the Game (association football), Laws of the Game during a match. The 2018 King Cup, or The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was the 43rd edition of the King Cup since its establishment in 1957, and the 11th under the current format. It started on 3 January and concluded with the final on 12 May 2018. The winner qualified for the 2019 AFC Champions League group stage. Al-Ittihad won their eighth title after a 3–1 win over Al-Faisaly in the final on 12 May 2018. Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. Gliwicki Klub Sportowy Piast Gliwice () is a Polish football club based in Gliwice. In the 2018–19 season, Piast won its first Polish championship. As of 2022–23, it competes in the Ekstraklasa, Poland's top division. 2019 Polish SuperCup
The 2019 Polish SuperCup was the 29th Polish SuperCup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. It was held on 13 July 2019 between the 2018–19 Ekstraklasa champions Piast Gliwice and the 2018–19 Polish Cup winners Lechia Gdańsk at the home of the Ekstraklasa champions Piast, the Stadion Miejski in Gliwice. Piast played their first ever SuperCup match, while Lechia played their second ever and the first since 1983. This was the first SuperCup match since 2010 to not feature Legia Warsaw. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification (UEFA)
The European section of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification acted as qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was held in Russia, for national teams that are members of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Apart from Russia, who qualified automatically as hosts, a total of 13 slots in the final tournament were available for UEFA teams. The qualifying format was confirmed by the UEFA Executive Committee meeting on 22–23 March 2015 in Vienna. The qualification process started on 4 September 2016, almost two months after UEFA Euro 2016, and ended on 14 November 2017.
