Paul Shull
Paul James Shull (born May 25, 1973) is a rock music promoter and television host who has worked in music, film and television. He is the host of the television show ''The Weapon Hunter''. Early life Shull was born in Kitchener, Ontario and graduated with honours from St. Davids high school in Waterloo, Ontario in 1993. Career Local years In 1993, Shull became a music promoter, booking agent and band manager with London, Ontario based company Sink or Swim Promotions. He worked to promote local indie bands and booked local, national and international touring acts. That year Toronto's NXNE festival enlisted Shull to scout for bands and performers to add to their festival roster. After three years, Shull bought Sink or Swim and helped promote Elmira, Ontario based band, The Ludes. Goldfinger is an American punk rock and ska punk band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. In their early years the band was considered a contributor to the movement of third-wave ska, a mid-1990s revitalization in the popularity of ska. Skydiggers are a Canadian roots rock band from Toronto formed by Andy Maize and Josh Finlayson. Since 1990, they have released 19 albums/EPs and have had a number of singles that have appeared on the Canadian charts. Their most successful album is ''Restless'', released in 1992. With a presence spanning decades, the band has appeared under a variety of different record labels and with many changes in members that form the group. The current group of six members released their most recent recording in 2017. Pocket Dwellers
The Pocket Dwellers are a Canadian seven-member experimental hip-hop group from the Toronto area. The band's main genre is hip-hop, but their music is influenced by jazz, funk, soul and breakbeat. History The Pocket Dwellers began forming together in 1996. That year the band performed at EdgeFest in Toronto. In 1999 the band performed in Hamilton as part of Showcase '99. The Pocket Dwellers released their first full-length record in 2000 after they signed a recording deal with Song Corp, and a second album, ''Digitally Organic'', later that year. Song Corp went bankrupt in early 2001, leaving the second album with no promotion. The next release was the album recorded live during sold out performances at a club in Toronto called the Reverb. Stabilo (originally Stabilo Boss) was a Canadian rock band from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. It formed in 1999 and is best known for its songs " Everybody", "One More Pill", "Don't Look in Their Eyes", "Flawed Design", and "Kidding Ourselves". Sondre Lerche (; born 5 September 1982) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist, now based in Los Angeles, California. He has released nine studio albums. Early life Growing up in a suburb of Bergen, Lerche was heavily influenced by 1980s pop. Lerche was fascinated by bands such as the Beatles, A-ha, the Beach Boys, and Prefab Sprout, and began formal guitar instruction at the age of eight. Not being satisfied with classical lessons, Lerche's teacher introduced him to Brazilian music, such as bossa nova, and thus formed the foundation of Lerche's vast array of complex melodies and chords throughout his music today.
