Wakefield Trinity is a professional rugby league club in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, that plays in the Super League. One of the original twenty-two clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, between 1999 and 2016 the club was known as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. The Dewsbury Rams are a professional English rugby league club based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire that compete in the Championship. They play their home games at the Tetley's Stadium, on Owl Lane. The Rams' main fanbase comes from their hometown of Dewsbury, but they also hold a strong following in Shaw Cross as well as in neighbouring Gawthorpe and Ossett, among other places. Normanton is an amateur rugby league club based in Normanton, a small town within the City of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England. The club joined the Northern Union in 1898–99 and played for a total of five seasons until 1905–06. They played at the Mopsey Garth ground. The club started out as founder members of the Yorkshire Senior Competition Division 2 (East), and moved as the competition structures changed.
