Pat Higgins
Pat Higgins (born 30 March 1974 in Essex, England) is a film director, writer, producer and owner of independent production company Jinx Media Ltd. Higgins' first feature from the company, ''Trash House'', was filmed in 2004 and released on DVD in Europe in February 2006. It was distributed by Screen Entertainment, the UK distributors of such controversial features as ''I Spit On Your Grave'' and ''Faces of Death''. Higgins' second feature, ''KillerKiller, was filmed in 2006 and completed in 2007. All worldwide rights were licensed to York Entertainment, who released the film on DVD in August 2007. Higgins' third feature, ''Hellbride'', was publicly premiered at the Festival of Fantastic Films (UK), Festival of Fantastic Films in the UK in September 2007, where it was awarded 'Commended' status. Essex
Essex () is a county in the East of England. One of the home counties, it borders Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to the north, the North Sea to the east, Hertfordshire to the west, Kent across the estuary of the River Thames to the south, and Greater London to the south and south-west. FrightFest (film Festival)
FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The first event was held in London in 2000 and the first Glasgow festival was held in 2006. As its name indicates FrightFest primary focus is on the horror film genre, however, the event regularly features documentaries, science fiction and thriller films. Prince Charles Cinema
The Prince Charles Cinema (PCC) is a repertory cinema located in Leicester Place, 50 yards north of Leicester Square in the West End of London. It shows a rotating programme of cult, arthouse, and classic films alongside recent Hollywood releases – typically more than ten different films a week on two screens (300 velvet seats downstairs and 104 high back leather seats upstairs).
