Parálisis Permanente
Parálisis Permanente was a Spanish post-punk band from the 1980s, noted for being the precursors of the "dark sound" of the Movida Madrileña. Biography The band was originally formed by Eduardo Benavente (guitars) and Nacho Canut (bass), both formerly from Alaska y los Pegamoides, along with their siblings Javier Benavente (vocals) and Johnny Canut (drums) around 1981. This formation recorded an EP, later included in their 1995 compilation ''Singles y Primeras Grabaciones''. After Javier left the band, Eduardo Benavente became also the lead singer. Their sound became darker, departing from the Pegamoides original pop sound and approaching the wave of bands like Gabinete Caligari. In November 1981 they recorded their first EP, which was edited with the company Tic-Tac from Navarra in January 1982. "I Wanna Be Your Dog" is a song by American rock band the Stooges. Released as the group's debut single from the band's 1969 self-titled debut album. The riff is composed of only three chords (G, F♯ and E), is played continuously throughout the song (excepting two brief 4-bar bridges). The 3-minute-and-9-second-long song, with its distortion-heavy guitar intro, single-note piano riff played by producer John Cale of the Velvet Underground, and steady, driving beat, gave the cutting edge of the early heavy metal and punk sound. The Stooges
The Stooges, originally billed as the Psychedelic Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges, was an American rock band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1967 by singer Iggy Pop, guitarist Ron Asheton, drummer Scott Asheton, and bassist Dave Alexander. Initially playing a raw, primitive style of rock and roll, the band sold few records in their original incarnation and gained a reputation for their confrontational performances, which often involved acts of self-mutilation by Iggy Pop. "Heroes" is a song by English musician David Bowie from his 12th studio album of the same name. Co-written by Bowie and Brian Eno and co-produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti, the song was recorded in mid-1977 at Hansa Studio 2 in West Berlin. Using a G– D chord progression, the backing track was recorded fully before lyrics were written; Bowie and Eno added synthesiser overdubs while Robert Fripp contributed guitar. To record the vocal, Visconti devised a "multi-latch" system, wherein three microphones were placed at different distances from Bowie and would open when he sang loud enough.
