''Paranormal Activity 2'' is a 2010 American found footage supernatural horror film directed by Tod Williams and written by Michael R. Perry, Christopher Landon and Tom Pabst. The film is a prequel to the 2007 film ''Paranormal Activity'', beginning two months before and following up with the events depicted in the original film. It was released in theaters at midnight on October 22, 2010 in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Poland and Ireland. An unrated version of the film was also released. Plot In August 2006, a "burglary" occurs at the home of Kristi (Sprague Grayden) and Daniel Rey (Brian Boland), trashing their house and leaving only their infant son Hunter's bedroom untouched. Tod Williams (filmmaker)
Tod Culpan "Kip" Williams (born September 27, 1968) is an American director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the 2010 horror film ''Paranormal Activity 2''. Life and career Williams, born in Manhattan in 1968, is the son of architect Tod Williams and dancer Patricia Agnes Jones. His parents divorced when he was three years old, and he and his older sister, model Rachel Williams, lived with their mother in the West Village in Lower Manhattan. After his mother's remarriage in the late 1970s, they moved to Woodstock, New York. Williams studied painting and literature at Bard College and Columbia University before finding work as a stringer for the ''New York Times'', Los Angeles bureau. ''Saw VI'' is a 2009 horror film directed by Kevin Greutert, in his feature directorial debut, from a screenplay by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. Kevin Greutert
Kevin Greutert (born March 31, 1965) is an American film director, film editor and writer, best known for his work on the ''Saw'' film series, as well as character-based supernatural horrors. He is married to actress Elizabeth Rowin. Career Greutert was the film editor for '' The Strangers'' (2008), '' Room 6'' (2006), and ''Journey to the End of the Night'' (2006). He was also the editor of the ''Saw'' series for the first five films, as well as the eighth, ''Jigsaw''. He made his feature directorial debut with ''Saw VI'', which was released on October 23, 2009.
