MVM's Panditrao Agashe School or Panditrao Agashe School, is a private, co-educational day school located at Law College Road in Pune, India. The institution is a part of the Maharashtra Vidhya Mandal. Maharashtra Vidhya Mandal was founded in 1957 . He was one of the first Maharashtrian in Pune to start an English Medium School. He is also renowned for his English into Marathi and Marathi into English dictionaries. The school caters to pupils from kindergarten up to class 10 and the medium of instruction is the English language. The school is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune which conducts the SSC Examinations at the close of class 10. The school is divided into three sections viz. pre-primary, primary and secondary. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education () is a statutory and autonomous body established under the "Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act" 1965 (amended in 1977). Jagdish "Panditrao" Agashe (8 March 1936 – 16 November 1986) was an Indian businessman, best remembered for succeeding his father Chandrashekhar Agashe as the joint managing director of the Brihan Maharashtra Sugar Syndicate Ltd. from 1970 to 1978. Dnyaneshwar Agashe ( mr, ज्ञानेश्वर आगाशे; IAST: Jñāneśvara Āgāśe; 17 April 1942 – 2 January 2009) was an Indian businessman, cricketer, cricket administrator and philanthropist. Chandrashekhar Agashe
Chandrashekhar Govind Agashe ( mr, चंद्रशेखर आगाशे; IAST: Candraśekhara Āgāśe; 14 February 1888 — 9 June 1956) was an Indian industrialist and lawyer, best remembered as the founder of the Brihan Maharashtra Sugar Syndicate Ltd.
