Pamela Jiles (journalist)
Pamela Jiles Moreno (born 30 November 1960) is a Chilean journalist and politician, currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing District 12 of the Santiago Metropolitan Region. Throughout her career, Jiles has gained attention for her confrontational personality. She has gained the nickname "Abuela" (Grandma). Biography Jiles studied journalism at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She began working as journalist in the 1980s on several magazines against Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship, such as ''Solidaridad'', ''Apsi'' and ''Análisis''. In the 1990s, Jiles began working in '' Informe Especial'' (''Special Report''), an investigative journalism program of Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN). Chamber Of Deputies Of Chile
The Chamber of Deputies ( es, Cámara de Diputadas y Diputados, links=no) is the lower house of Chile's bicameral Congress. Its organisation and its powers and duties are defined in articles 42 to 59 of Chile's current constitution. Eligibility Deputies must: be aged at least 21; not be disqualified from voting; have finished secondary school or its equivalent; and have lived in the corresponding electoral district for at least two years prior to the election. The Broad Front ( es, Frente Amplio, FA) is a Chilean political coalition founded in early 2017, composed of left-wing parties and movements. The MAS Region ( es, MAS Región), known until 2014 as Broad Social Movement ( es, Movimiento Amplio Social, MAS) was a Chilean left-wing political party founded by Alejandro Navarro in 2008. Alejandro Navarro Brain (born 20 November 1958) is a Chilean politician who has served as a member of Parliament for the Bío-Bío Region since 1994. First as Deputy and since 2006 as Senator, in 2009 founded the Broad Social Movement (MAS in Spanish), same year that he ran for the President of the Republic post. His partner is Ana Garcia Sciaraffia and has five children. He later left MAS to form País.
