Pali Miska
Pali Miska (19 May 1931 – September 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Communist Era. He served as Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania from 22 November 1982 to 19 February 1987. Miska was first as a party functionary in Fushë Arrëz, the largest Albanian state enterprise for timber production. In 1970, he was elected first-deputy of the People's Assembly (Alb: ''Kuvendi Popullor''), and served as member from the seventh to the end of the eleventh legislative term until 1991. In 1971, he became candidate of the Central Committee (CC) of the selected PPSh, and simultaneously the First Party Secretary in Pukë District in northern Albania. In September 1975, Miska succeeded the demised Koço Theodhosi as member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania without previous candidate status. Speaker Of The Parliament Of Albania
The speaker of the Parliament of Albania () is the head of the Parliament of Albania, Parliament whose term coincides with the term of the Parliament and they are Election, elected by a vote during the opening session. If the President of Albania, president is temporarily absent or incapable of exercising his or her powers, the speaker takes over the functions of the office, as specified by the Constitution of Albania, Constitution. Since the first multi-party elections held after the Fall of communism in Albania, collapse of the Communist rule, there have been eight speakers of the Parliament. Qirjako Mihali
Qirjako Mihali (13 May 1929 - 7 April 2009) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. He was a candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania, Minister of Finance, and member of the Albanian Parliament. Biography Mihali began his career as a functionary of the Party of Labour in the business sector, most recently from 1967 to 1975 he was Director of Nitrogen Producing Plant ("Azotik") in Fier. In January 1975, he became for candidate-member of the Politburo of the Party. He held this position until his retirement in December 1990. Together with Hekuran Isai, Pali Miska, and Llambi Gegprifti, Mihali represented a new generation of leaders within the Party, which gain power with the termination of relations with the People's Republic of China. Muho Asllani
Muho Asllani (born 1937) is a former Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour (PPSh). He was a member of the Politburo, a representative in the Albanian Parliament for many years, First Secretary of Party in several districts, and member of the Cabinet of Albania during 1976-79. Biography Asllani was born on 17 October 1937 in Bërdicë, near Shkodër, in a poor family. Themie Thomai Prifti (July 11, 1917 – July 11, 1999) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour. She served as a Minister of Agriculture from 1986-1987,1989 to July 11-August 2 1992. Career Themie Thomai initially worked as an agricultural worker and then completed a degree in Agricultural Sciences at the Agricultural University Tirana. Enver Hoxha
Enver Halil Hoxha ( , ; 16 October 190811 April 1985) was an Albanian communist politician who was the authoritarian ruler of Albania from 1944 until his death in 1985. He was First Secretary of the Party of Labour of Albania from 1941 until his death in 1985. Prokop Murra (24 November 1921 – 9 September 2005) was an Albanian politician of the Albanian Party of Labour (PPSh). Early life Murra was born on 24 November 1921 in Tirana, and studied economics. He joined the Albanian Communist Party in 1943 and fought during World War II as a partisan of the National Liberation Movement. Adil Çarçani
Adil Çarçani (5 May 1922 – 13 October 1997) was an Albanian politician who served as the 24th Prime Minister of Albania during the Communist era led by Enver Hoxha. He served as the titular head of the Albanian government in the years immediately preceding the fall of Communism. Spiro Koleka
Spiro Koleka (7 July 1908 – 22 August 2001) was an important Albanian statesman, communist politician and a high-ranking military officer during World War II. He was a civil engineer by profession. Spiro Koleka served as a parliament member in all legislatures from 1944 until 1990. Koleka was a member of the Politburo of the Party of Labor of Albania during the years 1948 to 1981. Mehmet Shehu
Mehmet Ismail Shehu (January 10, 1913 – December 18, 1981) was an Albanian communist politician who served as the 23rd Prime Minister of Albania from 1954 to 1981.
