The Pakistan Navy Football Club is a professional football club based in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, that competes in Pakistan Premier League, the top flight of Pakistani football. Nicknamed the "Seamen", the club was founded in 1948 and play their home games in Naval Sports Complex. Pakistan Navy won 1 National Football Challenge Cup and 1 second division title in 2014–15. History Pakistan Navy first entered the competitive tournament in 1984, when they participated in 1984 Inter-provincial Championship. They reached the final of 1999 National Football Championship (then the top-tier in Pakistani football), losing 4–3 on penalties to Allied Bank. In 2000 National Football Championship Pakistan Navy reached the semi-finals, although the match was abandoned after Pakistan Navy refused to continue the match after receiving a red card and match was awarded in the favor of their opponents Habib Bank. 2014 National Football Challenge Cup
The 2014 National Football Challenge Cup was 24th season of domestic cup tournament in Pakistani football. It was sponsored by National Bank of Pakistan, and known as NBP National Football Challenge Cup. 12 teams participated in the tournament. National Bank were the defending champions, but were eliminated in quarter-finals by Karachi Port Trust. Pakistan Airforce won their first title after defeating KESC 2–1 in the finals. 2014–15 Pakistan Premier League
The 2014–15 Pakistan Premier League is the 60th season of Pakistan domestic football and the 11th season of the Pakistan Premier League. The league began on 20 September 2014. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions, having won the league championship for the last three seasons. The season also sees the league reduce to 12 teams from 16 after six sides were relegated in the previous season with two promoted. Teams Pakistan Navy, HBL, Baloch Nushki, Pak Afghan Clearing, ZTBL and Lyallpur were relegated at the end of the 2013–14 campaign. They were replaced by Baloch Quetta and Pakistan Railways. Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is the governing body of association football in Pakistan. The 2012 National Football Challenge Cup was the 22nd edition of National Football Challenge Cup, the domestic cup competition in Pakistani football. The edition was sponsored by Karachi Port Trust, therefore, it was also known as the 2012 KPT Challenge Cup. The tournament was held in Karachi, with KPT Stadium and People's Football Stadium having two matches played simultaneously. The 2010 National Football Challenge Cup was the 20th edition of National Football Challenge Cup, the main cup competition in Pakistani football. The tournament was held in Multan. A total of 16 were participating in the tournament, but Karachi Port Trust withdrew few days before the start of tournaments. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions, winning the previous edition defeating Pakistan Airforce in the finals. The Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA; ur, ) is a government-owned public utility maintaining power and water in Pakistan, although it does not manage thermal power.
