Padma Sachdev
Padma Sachdev (17 April 1940 – 4 August 2021) was an Indian poet and novelist. She was the first modern woman poet of the Dogri language. George, p. 522 She also wrote in Hindi. She published several poetry collections, including ''Meri Kavita Mere Geet'' (My Poems, My Songs), which won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1971. She also received the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award in 2001, and the Kabir Samman for poetry for the year 2007-08 given by Government of Madhya Pradesh, Saraswati Samman for the year 2015, Sahitya Akademi Fellowship in 2019. Personal life and death Sachdev was born in a Khatri Family in Purmandal, Jammu on 17 April 1940. She was the eldest of three children of a Sanskrit scholar, professor Jai Dev Badu, who was later killed during the partition of India in 1947. New Delhi (, , ''Naī Dillī'') is the capital of India and a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). New Delhi is the seat of all three branches of the government of India, hosting the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court of India. New Delhi is a municipality within the NCT, administered by the NDMC, which covers mostly Lutyens' Delhi and a few adjacent areas. ''Sulakshana Pandit'' is an Indian playback singer and former Bollywood leading lady belonging to the Mewati Gharana. Career Sulakshana's career as an actress spanned the 1970s and early '80s. As a leading lady she has worked with most of the top actors of the 1970s like Jeetendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Shashi Kapoor and Shatrughan Sinha. Her acting career began with the suspense thriller ''Uljhan'' in 1975, opposite Sanjeev Kumar. In Anil Ganguly's ''Sankoch'' (1976), which was based on the novel ''Parineeta'', she portrayed Lolita. Mohd Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs. He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona and style of the actor lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie. He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award. In 1967, he was honored with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India. In 2001, Rafi was honoured with the "Best Singer of the Millennium" title by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine. Jaidev (3 August 1918 – 6 January 1987; born Jaidev Verma) was a music composer in Hindi films, most known for his work in films: '' Hum Dono'' (1961), ''Reshma Aur Shera'' (1971), ''Prem Parbat'' (1973), ''Gharaonda'' (1977) and ''Gaman'' (1978). He won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction, three times for ''Reshma Aur Shera'' (1972), ''Gaman'' (1979) and '' Ankahee'' (1985). ''Prem Parbat'' () is a 1973 Hindi-language film directed by Ved Rahi. The film stars Rehana Sultan, Satish Kaul, Nana Palsikar, Agha and Hema Malini in a special appearance. The film has music by Jaidev with lyrics by Jan Nisar Akhtar and Padma Sachdev, and is remembered for its melodies, including Lata Mangeshkar classic "Ye Dil Aur Unki, Nigaaho Ke Saaye", written by Jan Nisar Akhtar and "Mera Chhota Sa Ghardwaar" written by poet Padma Sachdev. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar
Ramdhari Singh (23 September 1908 – 24 April 1974), known by his pen name Dinkar, was an Indian Hindi and Maithili language poet, essayist, freedom fighter, patriot and academic. He emerged as a poet of rebellion as a consequence of his nationalist poetry written in the days before Indian independence. His poetry exuded ''Veer Rasa'' (heroic sentiment), and he has been hailed as a '' Rashtrakavi'' ('national poet') and ''Yuga-Chāraṇa'' (Charan of the Era) on account of his inspiring patriotic compositions.
