Prem Parbat
''Prem Parbat'' () is a 1973 Hindi-language film directed by Ved Rahi. The film stars Rehana Sultan, Satish Kaul, Nana Palsikar, Agha and Hema Malini in a special appearance. The film has music by Jaidev with lyrics by Jan Nisar Akhtar and Padma Sachdev, and is remembered for its melodies, including Lata Mangeshkar classic "Ye Dil Aur Unki, Nigaaho Ke Saaye", written by Jan Nisar Akhtar and "Mera Chhota Sa Ghardwaar" written by poet Padma Sachdev. According to Rahi, the print of the film got destroyed over time, making it a lost film. Plot The film is the story of an orphan girl, whose loyalties are divided between her aged husband and a young forest officer she has fallen in love with. Being the wife of the old Choudhari she is conflicted about her love for another man. Rehana Sultan
Rehana Sultan (born 19 November 1950) is an Indian actress best known for her debut role in the acclaimed 1970 film '' Dastak'' which won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. A graduate of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, she is also known for another bold role in the film '' Chetna'' (1970), which got her typecast thus ending her film career, despite its promising start. She said ''"The sex in my films was not forced, but part of the narrative. Today, I feel these scenes are used for commercial reasons. Satish Kaul
Satish Kaul (8 September 1946 – 10 April 2021) was an Indian actor in both Punjabi and Hindi movies. He acted in over 300 Hindi and Punjabi films and worked with Bollywood actors such as Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan amongst others. His notable film roles included ones in ''Sassi Punnu'', ''Ishq Nimana'', ''Prem Parbat'', ''Suhag Chooda'' and ''Patola''. Kaul won the "lifetime achievement" award for his contribution to Punjabi cinema at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2011. He was regarded as one of the most successful regional film actors of all time. He was referred to as the "Amitabh Bachchan of Punjabi cinema". Kaul died of COVID-19 on 10 April 2021. Personal Kaul started an acting school in Ludhiana, which lost money. Indrani Mukherjee
Indrani Mukherjee (born 1 March 1942) is an Indian actress who worked in Hindi films during the 1960s and 1970s and starred in over 70 films. After playing the heroine in some films, notably ''Usne Kaha Tha'' (1960) and ''Aakhri Khat'' (1966), she moved to playing character roles which were central to the film and made this her forte. Hiralal (actor)
Hiralal Thakur (14 March 1909/1910 – 27 June 1981), known mononymously as Hiralal, was an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Known for his performances as a character actor, he was called the 'bad man of the Indian screen' for his portrayal of roles with negative shades. He made his debut with the silent film '' Safdar Jung'' (1930). Hiralal also took part in India's independence movement and became an activist with the Indian National Congress when he was 14. He was later associated with the group of political and social workers that included Lala Lajpat Rai and Bhagat Singh, before moving into a career in films in 1928. After a distinguished career in films for over fifty years which included at least 150 films, he died penniless in 1981. Jaidev (3 August 1918 – 6 January 1987; born Jaidev Verma) was a music composer in Hindi films, most known for his work in films: '' Hum Dono'' (1961), ''Reshma Aur Shera'' (1971), ''Prem Parbat'' (1973), ''Gharaonda'' (1977) and ''Gaman'' (1978).
