Pyotr Tochilin
Pyotr Vladimirovich Tochilin (russian: Пётр Влади́мирович Точи́лин; born June 15, 1974 in Chişinău, Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic) is a Russian film director and screenwriter. He has won several film awards. Biography Tochilin was born on June 15, 1974 in Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1996 he graduated from "Moscow State University of Culture and Arts" degree in "Directing film and TV". In 2006, he directed the film ''Khottabych''. From 2008 to 2009, he worked on the show ''Univer (Russian TV series)">Univer''. Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic
The Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic ( ro, Republica Sovietică Socialistă Moldovenească, Moldovan Cyrillic: ) was one of the 15 republics of the Soviet Union which existed from 1940 to 1991. The republic was formed on 2 August 1940 from parts of Bessarabia, a region annexed from Romania on 28 June of that year, and parts of the Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, an autonomous Soviet republic within the Ukrainian SSR. After the Declaration of Sovereignty on 23 June 1990, and until 23 May 1991, it was officially known as the Soviet Socialist Republic of Moldova. From 23 May 1991 until the declaration of independence on 27 August 1991, it was renamed the Republic of Moldova while remaining a constituent republic of the USSR. Its independence was recognized on 26 December of that year when the USSR was dissolved. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. It is based on the novel ''The Copper Jar of Old Khottabych'' by Sergey Oblomov, and uses the title character, genie Khottabych, created by Soviet writer Lazar Lagin for his children's book and movie ''Old Khottabych'' (1956).
