Push Over (band)
Push Over is an American post-hardcore musical duo composed of American musicians Thomas Erak, of mathcore band The Fall of Troy, and Kurt Travis, of rock band Royal Coda. Formed in 2017, the band released one demo extended play in February 2017 and were originally set to release their debut studio album in 2021, yet was postponed indefinitely. The duo are currently on hiatus and pursuing their respective endeavors. Background and formation Push Over is considered a post-hardcore side-project] composed of Kurt Travis, formerly of Dance Gavin Dance and A Lot Like Birds and currently of Royal Coda, who pursues vocals and guitar, and Thomas Erak, currently of The Fall of Troy, who pursues drums, guitar, and backing vocals. ''The City Sleeps in Flames'' is the debut studio album by American post-hardcore band Scary Kids Scaring Kids, released through Immortal Records on June 28, 2005. The album produced three music videos, for the songs "The Only Medicine", "My Darkest Hour" and the title track. The title of the album and the song of the same name refers to the group's loss of structure in their lives, creating a new one on the road. The cover recalls the final scene of the movie ''Fight Club''. The song "The World as We Know It" makes a reference to the movie ''28 Days Later'' ("A virus known as Rage is brutally destroying and spreading all over the place"). Secrets (stylized as SECRETS) is an American metalcore/post-hardcore band formed in San Diego, California in 2010. After being signed to Rise Records in 2011, Secrets released their debut full-length album '' The Ascent'' in January 2012. Scary Kids Scaring Kids (abbreviated SKSK) is an American post-hardcore band formed in Gilbert, Arizona, United States, in 2002. The band's name was taken from the Cap'n Jazz song of the same name. Tilian Pearson (born July 12, 1987), also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer born in Clearwater, Florida. Since 2012 he has been the third clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance. Pearson began his music career as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the progressive rock band Tides of Man, releasing an extended play and two studio albums before leaving in 2010. After parting ways with Tides of Man, Pearson briefly joined the American rock bands Saosin and Emarosa following the departure of their respective vocalists, however never released any material with the groups. ''Royal Coda'' is the eponymous debut full-length studio album by American post-hardcore band Royal Coda, released on April 27, 2018, on Blue Swan Records. The album was produced by Dominic Nastasi and Mike Watts. It is the only release to feature the original trio of lead vocalist Kurt Travis, guitarist Sergio Medina, and drummer Joseph Arrington before guitarist Will Swan joined the three musicians the following year. The album was supported by three singles; "Anything to Save", "Cut Me Under", and "Breathe Correct".
