''My Patricia'' (''Patricia mía'', also known as ''Punto y banca '') is a 1961 romantic comedy film directed by Enrique Carreras, with a screenplay by Emilio Villalba Welsh based on an idea by Enrique Carreras. It stars Carlos Estrada and Susana Canales and features the musical group Los Cinco Latinos. It was partially filmed in Mar del Plata and is the posthumous film of Francisco Álvarez (actor), Francisco Álvarez who died in April 1960. Enrique Carreras
Enrique Carreras (6 January 1925 – 29 August 1995) was a Peruvian-born Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer, and was one of the most prolific film directors in the history of the Cinema of Argentina. Born in Lima, Peru, Carreras directed nearly 100 films in his 40-year career between 1951 and 1991. His 1964 film ''The Escaped'' was seen at the 14th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1977 film '' Crazy Women'' was entered into the 10th Moscow International Film Festival. He died in Buenos Aires in 1995. Ricardo Castro Ríos
Ricardo Castro Ríos (April 2, 1920 – January 21, 2001) was a classic Spanish - Argentine film actor. He came onto the scene in 1945 in the acclaimed 1945 film '' La cabalgata del circo'' in which he starred alongside two of the biggest names in Argentine cinema in the day, Libertad Lamarque and Hugo del Carril. In 1947 he then starred in another classic, A sangre fría, which also starred Amelia Bence. He died of cancer in 2001.
