Pulsar Awards
The Premios Pulsar ( en, Pulsar Awards) is an award ceremony presented annually by the (SCD) to recognize the best in Chilean music releases. It includes categories for albums, songs, music videos and music-related books and other publications. The first awards ceremony was held on 25 July 2015, at Teatro Nescafé de las Artes in Santiago. Chilean television presented Ignacio Franzani served as host while La Red and Radio Cooperativa broadcast the ceremony on television and radio, respectively. Background The awards were created in 2015, intended to highlight musical releases in the country. The name comes from the "Feria Pulsar", an annual event organized by the Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor that takes place in Santiago and includes activities such as concerts and music-related exhibitions. Vengo (album)
''Vengo'' is Chilean hip hop artist Ana Tijoux's fourth solo studio album, released in March 2014. Its debut single "Vengo" was released on ''Spin'' in January of the same year. ''Vengo'' was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album at the 2015 Ceremony. Gepe
Daniel Alejandro Riveros Sepúlveda (born September 28, 1981), known as Gepe, is a Chilean singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released five solo albums in addition to one album as a member of the band Taller Dejao. He has been described as the "new 'guru' of Chilean folk" for combining the sensibilities of 1960s and 1970s Chilean folk (especially the music of Víctor Jara) with a minimalist, electropop sound. La Fortaleza (album)
''La Fortaleza'' (''The Fortress'') is the fourth studio album by Chilean-American singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela. It was digitally released on January 17, 2020, by Sony Music Chile. The album consists of fourteen tracks, including the singles "Tómame" and "Héroe". It won the Pulsar Award for Album of the Year. Promotion Valenzuela started promotions in the "Tómame Tour" that visited some casinos in Chile in October 2018. "Amárrame" is a song by Chilean singer Mon Laferte featuring Colombian singer Juanes. It released on February 10, 2017 through Universal Music Group as part of Laferte's fifth studio album ''La Trenza''. The song was written by Laferte, produced by herself and Manuel Soto.
