Puerto Rico Highway 23 (PR-23), also known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt Avenue along its entire length, is a main highway in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It begins in PR-2 in Guaynabo near San Patricio and goes east to the business area ''Milla de Oro'', passing through Plaza Las Américas. Pueblo Viejo is a Barrios of Puerto Rico, barrio in the municipality of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 23,816. History In 1508, Juan Ponce de León founded the original Spanish settlement in Puerto Rico at Caparra (named after the province of Cáceres (province), Cáceres, Spain, the birthplace of then-governor of Spain's Caribbean territories Nicolás de Ovando), which today is known as Pueblo Viejo barrio. Puerto Rico was ceded by Spain in the aftermath of the Spanish–American War under the terms of the Treaty of Paris of 1898 and became an Insular area, unincorporated territory of the United States. San Patricio Plaza is a three-level enclosed shopping mall located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The mall is located at the intersection of PR-2, PR-23, and PR-20, and has over 120 stores with its anchors being T.J. Maxx, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Capri, Walgreens, PetSmart, Caribbean Cinemas and Office Depot, with one vacant anchor spot last occupied by Kmart. History During the Spanish Colonial period, Tomás O'Daly was granted land in the vicinity of Guaynabo and O'Daly developed it into a thriving sugar hacienda. One-way Street
One-way traffic (or uni-directional traffic) is traffic that moves in a single direction. A one-way street is a street either facilitating only one-way traffic, or designed to direct vehicles to move in one direction. A cloverleaf interchange is a two-level interchange in which all turns are handled by slip roads. To go left (in right-hand traffic; reverse directions in left-driving regions), vehicles first continue as one road passes over or under the other, then exit right onto a one-way three-fourths loop ramp (270°) and merge onto the intersecting road. The objective of a cloverleaf is to allow two highways to cross without the need for any traffic to be stopped by traffic lights. Roberto Clemente Coliseum (Spanish: ''Coliseo Roberto Clemente'') is a sports and concert arena located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hiram Bithorn Stadium
Hiram Bithorn Stadium (Spanish: Estadio Hiram Bithorn) is a baseball park in San Juan, Puerto Rico, built in 1962 and designed by Puerto Rican architect Pedro Miranda.
