Przyborów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jeleśnia, within Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately south-east of Jeleśnia, south-east of Żywiec, and south of the regional capital Katowice. Przyborów is located in a valley of the Żywiec Beskids mountains, on the Koszarawa mountain river (a tributary of the Soła). Żywiec
Żywiec () (german: Saybusch) is a town in southern Poland with 31,194 inhabitants (2019). Between 1975 and 1998, it was located within the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship, but has since become part of the Silesian Voivodeship.It is the capital of Żywiecczyzna which is part of the Goral Lands. The town is situated in the center of the Żywiec Basin, on the Soła river near Żywiec Lake in the Lesser Poland historic region and includes Żywiec Landscape Park, one of the eight protected areas in the voivodeship. The 551231 Żywiec planetoid is named after the town. History Żywiec was first mentioned in a written document in 1308 as a seat of a Catholic parish. Soła
The Soła () is a river in southern Poland, a right tributary of the Vistula. Soła originates in the Western Beskids mountain range near the border with Slovakia. It is made up of the confluence of several small creeks at the village of Rajcza. It runs downhill northeastwards through Żywiec Basin to the towns of Żywiec and Kęty, forming the border between the Silesian and the Żywiec Beskids. The Żywiec Beskids ( pl, Beskid Żywiecki) is a mountain range in the Outer Western Carpathians in southern Poland. It is the second highest range in Poland, after the Tatra Mountains. Jeleśnia is a village in Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Jeleśnia. It lies approximately south-east of Żywiec and south of the regional capital Katowice. The village has a population of 4,098, and it belongs to Lesser Poland. Together with Żywiec, for hundreds of years it was administratively tied with the city of Kraków. Jeleśnia is located on two rivers, Sopotnia and Koszarawa, among the mountains and hills of Beskidy.
