Prudentópolis
Prudentópolis is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Paraná, in Southern Brazil. As of 2020, it had a population of 52,513 people. It is the center of the Ukrainian community in Brazil. The Ukrainian city Ternopil is the sister city to Prudentópolis. Moreover, the town is surrounded by 100 waterfalls, which also attracts many tourists. History In 1882, the project of the construction of roads in central Paraná attracted the first families to the region. The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District. Campeonato Paranaense, which has been contested since 1915, is the top-flight football league of the state of Paraná, Brazil. Format The format has changed in 2014. 12 teams are together in a single group. They play against each other once, and the 8 best teams after the 11 games will play the knockout phase that teams will play against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis. The last 4 teams will play the Torneio da Morte, where they will play against each other two times (home-away), the best two teams will stay in the Série Ouro, the first division of the football of the state and the two worst will be relegated to the Série Prata, the second division. 2004 Copa Do Brasil
The Copa do Brasil 2004 was the 16th staging of the Copa do Brasil. The competition started on February 4, 2004 and concluded on June 30, 2004 with the second leg of the final, held at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, in which Santo André lifted the trophy for the first time with a 2-0 victory over Flamengo. Dauri, of 15 de Novembro, with 8 goals, was the competition's top goal scorer.
