Dongshi Township, also Dongshih Township, () is a rural township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. History After WWII, Dongshi Township was under the jurisdiction of Tainan County. Taibao (Hokkien POJ: ''Thài-pó'') is a county-administered city and the county seat of Chiayi County, Taiwan. Name The city was named after the government position of Wang De-lu, whose hometown is Taibao, in the 19th century. History Formerly ''Tsing-kau-boe'' (). Taibao City was established as Taibao Township in August 1945 after the World War II. In August 1946, Taibao Township was incorporated to Chiayi City to become Taibao District. Baihe District
Baihe District () is a district located in Tainan, Taiwan. It is known for its hot springs and lotus farming. The town borders Chiayi County to the north and east, Dongshan District to the south, and Houbi District to the west. Xinying District
Xinying District () or Sinying District is a district and the location of the second administrative center of the Tainan City Government in Taiwan.
