Prototyp BK4
Memento Materia is a Swedish record label focusing on synth-, electro- and futurepop, although it also released some EBM in the 1990s. Its first release was in January 1992, and the label had put out 87 releases (according to its official numbering scheme). In 2001, it formed Prototyp, a sublabel focusing on EBM, industrial and harder electro, which has put out another 26 releases (again according to its numbering scheme). Tragic Comedy
Tragicomedy is a literary genre that blends aspects of both tragic and comic forms. Most often seen in dramatic literature, the term can describe either a tragic play which contains enough comic elements to lighten the overall mood or a serious play with a happy ending. Tragicomedy, as its name implies, invokes the intended response of both the tragedy and the comedy in the audience, the former being a genre based on human suffering that invokes an accompanying catharsis and the latter being a genre intended to be humorous or amusing by inducing laughter. He has published over 350 records on a variety of record labels, is the editor of the radio show Power and operates Volt Festival in Uppsala. Sophie Rimheden (born 24 March 1975) is a Swedish electronica artist. Born in Lund, Sweden, she began making music as a child and moved into electronic music at age 13. She has stated she is heavily influenced by Madonna. Early career Rimheden released her first album ''Underneath The Floor'' in 1999 under the name Hayce. She collaborated with various guest musicians. Over the next few years she contributed songs to various compilation albums, including "Don't Follow" (2001) on ''Electric Ladyland'' (as Sophie Rimheden), "Cadillac" (as Hayce, 2002) for ''Circle o'' and "Food" (as Ban Ham, 2003) on ''Nattskift''. Mesh (band)
Mesh are a British electronic alternative band from Bristol, England. They have achieved chart success and recognition in Europe. Biography Mesh formed in 1991 after lead singer Mark Hockings and Richard Silverthorn (keyboards) met each other at a concert where Richard Silverthorn's band was playing. Soon afterwards, Neil Taylor, Silverthorn's former bandmate, joined the band on keyboards. The creative writing was split between Richard Silverthorn, who composes the music, and Mark Hockings, who writes the lyrics. Mesh were signed by the Swedish label Memento Materia and an EP, ''Fragile'', was released in 1994. This was followed by a full album, ''In This Place Forever'', in 1996, and 1997 the band released an extended version of ''Fragile''.
