Project Mooncircle
Project Mooncircle is an independent record label based in Berlin, Germany, focusing on organic and electronic music. History Project Mooncircle was founded in 2002 by Gordon Gieseking, as an offshoot of experimental electronic Miami label ''Beta Bodega''. In 2004 Gieseking formed a partnership with the vinyl and clothing mail-order company Hip Hop Vinyl, and when Beta Bodega ceased operations in 2005, Project Mooncircle became HHV.DE's official imprint. Respectively in 2009 and 2010, Project Mooncircle took up two sub-labels, dub techno imprint ''Project Squared'' and blog/label ''Finest Ego'', and in 2014 it was featured in the XLR8R readers poll on the best independent record labels, behind Ninja Tune and Warp Records. ''Metal'' was an Argentine heavy metal music magazine edited from 1984 to 1995. It was published by Magendra, which also published the ''Pelo'' magazine, devoted to mainstream rock and pop. Robot Koch
Robert Koch (born 7 October 1977), best known by the stage name Robot Koch, is a German, Los Angeles-based artist, composer, and record producer. Koch made a name for himself as a member of the band Jahcoozi before launching as a solo artist. His electronic music sound has been called "Wonderful and Strange - pop music from the future" by John Peel of the BBC, in 2003. Background Koch was introduced to the piano at six years of age, and later to the drums at thirteen. He has said that both instruments were helpful in his later years as a composer, giving him a foundation in a harmonic and a rhythmic understanding of music. He worked as a composer and producer in Berlin up until 2013, when he relocated to Los Angeles, California. The Range (musician)
James Hinton (born September 12, 1988), known professionally as The Range, is an American disc jockey, electronic musician and record producer. Biography Hinton was raised by his mother, a music teacher, on a farm in Pennsylvania. He began playing drums at about seven years old, eventually developing interests in electronic dance music and Baltimore club music as he entered his college years at Brown University. His studies at Brown included electronic music but focused most heavily on math and physics, elements of which Hinton has since incorporated into his music. Upon graduating with a degree in physics, Hinton briefly worked in a lab and as a music teacher at Brown before turning his attention full-time to his music career with the release of his 2013 album ''Nonfiction''. Lewis Parker is a British hip-hop producer born in London of Barbadian descent, who lived in Canterbury, Kent. As a teenager, Parker released an EP, ''B Boy Antiks'', and a 12" single, ''Rise/Visions of Splendour'', through Bite It! – a London-based recording label.
