Anna Prodromou (born 26 June 1972) is a Cypriot communications & DEI consultant, speaker and educator. She is also the founder of the organization Women in Conflict Zones. Early life Prodromou was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus. Both of her parents are of Cypriot origin, and her mother lives in Nicosia. Her father died in 2010. She holds a degree in French language and literature from the University of Cyprus and an MSc in communication and journalism from Open University of Cyprus. Career She has worked as a project manager on several NGO projects, one of which received a Stelios Haji-Ioannou Award in 2011. Evan S. Prodromou (born 14 October 1968) is a software developer and open source advocate. His major contributions have been Wikitravel (with Michele Ann Jenkins), Identi.ca, and StatusNet. In 2015, he launched Fuzzy.ai, an artificial intelligence service for developers. Biography Prodromou was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, and grew up in Texas and California. He has lived in Amsterdam, San Francisco, and Lisbon, and currently lives in Montreal. Helios Airways Flight 522
Helios Airways Flight 522 was a scheduled passenger flight from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Prague, Czech Republic, with a stopover in Athens, Greece. Shortly after take-off on 14 August 2005, air traffic control (ATC) lost contact with the aircraft operating the flight, named ''Olympia''; it eventually crashed near Grammatiko, Greece, killing all 121 passengers and crew on board. It is the deadliest aviation accident in Greek history. An investigation into the crash by the Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board (AAIASB) concluded that the crew had neglected to set the pressurization system to automatic during the take-off checks. Peter Prodromou (born 14 January 1969) is a British/Greek-Cypriot aerodynamicist and engineer. Currently, he is working as Chief Engineer (Aerodynamics) for the McLaren Formula One team. Biography Prodromou originally joined McLaren's design office in 1991, later becoming the team's chief aerodynamicist.
