Pro Golf Tour
The Pro Golf Tour, formerly the EPD Tour (European Professional Development Tour), is a developmental professional golf tour based in Germany. It is a third-level tour, the highest level of men's golf in Europe being the European Tour, and the second level being the Challenge Tour. The other third-level tours in Europe are the United Kingdom-based PGA EuroPro Tour, the Alps Tour, which is sanctioned by the national golf unions of several countries, including France and Italy, and the Nordic Golf League in the Nordic countries. Beginning in July 2015, the four third-level tours carry Official World Golf Ranking points. The EPD Tour was established by Canadian golf professional Wayne Hachey in 1997 and has been recognised as an official third level tour by the PGA European Tour since 2001. In 2005 the PGA of Germany took over the EPD Tour. The top ten players on the Order of Merit are awarded a bypass to the second stage of European Tour Qualifying School. } Nicolai von Dellingshausen (born 22 January 1993) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour. Von Dellingshausen turned professional in late 2016 and played on the 2017 Pro Golf Tour. In February he lost in a four-way playoff in the Tony Jacklin Open, before winning the Tazegzout Open in March. Craig Robert Howie (born 27 August 1994) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2021 Range Servant Challenge on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Howie won the Scottish Boys Championship at Murcar Links in 2012. He led the Amateur Championship stroke-play qualifying at Carnoustie in 2015 and was a member of the Scottish team that won the European Amateur Team Championship in 2016. He was not selected for the 2017 Walker Cup team, being named the second reserve. Howie graduated from the University of Stirling with a sports studies degree. Christopher Herlihy "Hurly" Long (born 21 July 1995) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2020 Italian Challenge Open. Amateur career Long attended Texas Tech University from 2015 to 2018, having been a freshman at the University of Oregon in 2014/15.
