Pristin Members
Pristin (; stylized as PRISTIN and formerly known as Pledis Girlz) was a South Korean girl group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2016. The group was composed of ten members: Nayoung, Roa, Yuha, Eunwoo, Rena, Kyulkyung, Yehana, Sungyeon, Xiyeon and Kyla. Most of them appeared on the television show '' Produce 101'' and, as the prize for becoming two of the top contestants, Nayoung and Kyulkyung went on to debut as part of the project girl group I.O.I, before reuniting with the other members to debut as Pristin on March 21, 2017, with the first EP ''Hi! Pristin''. Pristin was known for writing and composing their own music. Webtoons (), are a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea usually meant to be read on smartphones. While webtoons were mostly unknown outside of Korea during their inception, there has been a surge in popularity internationally thanks in great part to the rise in popularity of manhwa and the fact that most manhwa are released as webtoons. In the country, as digital manhwa have emerged as a popular medium, print publication of manhwa has decreased. The amount of material published in webtoon form has now reached an equal amount as that published offline. Zhou Jieqiong (; ; born December 16, 1998), known professionally as Jieqiong or Kyulkyung (in Korean), is a Chinese singer and actress based in China and South Korea and signed under Pledis Entertainment. After finishing sixth in survival show ''Produce 101'', she became a member of the girl group I.O.I. She was also a member of Pristin and its subgroup Pristin V. She made her solo debut with the single "Why" on September 6, 2018. As an actress, she is best known for her roles in ''Miss Truth'' (2020), ''Legend of Fei'' (2020), ''To Be With You'' (2021) and '' Be My Princess'' (2022). We Like (stylized as WE LIKE) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Pristin for their second EP '' Schxxl Out'' (2017). It was released as the album's only single on August 23, 2017. An official music video also premiered on the same day. The song was written in part by Sungyeon, a member of the group. Background and release After the promotions for their debut mini album ''Hi! Pristin'' were wrapped up, the group started working on their next comeback, most likely to happen on the summer of 2017, as confirmed on May 22 by the girls themselves during a Facebook live stream with Idols of Asia'','' a Chinese entertainment website. ''Schxxl Out'' (stylized as ''SCHXXL OUT'') is the second and final extended play by South Korean girl group Pristin. It was released on August 23, 2017, by Pledis Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. The EP consists of five songs, including the single "We Like", which also had a music video released on August 23. The group performed in various Korean music shows to promote the album. Black Widow is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Pristin for their first EP ''Hi! Pristin'' (2017). It was remixed and then released as the album's second single on May 19, 2017. KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ E&M. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France.
