Princeville, Guyana
Princeville is an Amerindian community in the Potaro-Siparuni Region of Guyana. It is located some 12 miles away from Mahdia along the Potaro River. The location used to be called Kangaruma Junction, but was renamed after Alan Prince, its founder. Princeville was established in the late 1980s by a group of Amerindians who felt that it was necessary to create an area to develop their culture and to have access to rich farmlands. The village is a satellite of and managed by the Village Captain and Councilors of Campbelltown. Economic activity Most of the residents are Patamona or Wapishana people. Mining and farming are the main economic activities. Subsistence farming is practiced by the residents. Crops grown are cassava, bananas, plantains, pineapples, cashews and cashew nuts. Flag Of Guyana
The flag of Guyana, known as The Golden Arrowhead, has been the national flag of Guyana since May 1966 when the country became independent from the United Kingdom. It was designed by Whitney Smith, an American vexillologist (though originally without the black and white fimbriations, which were later additions suggested by the College of Arms in the United Kingdom). The proportions of the national flag are 3:5. The colours are symbolic, with red for zeal and dynamism, gold for mineral wealth, green for agriculture and forests, black for endurance, and white for rivers and water. Agriculture or farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Cashews
The cashew tree (''Anacardium occidentale'') is a tropical evergreen tree native to South America in the genus ''Anacardium'' that produces the cashew seed and the cashew apple accessory fruit. The tree can grow as tall as , but the dwarf cultivars, growing up to , prove more profitable, with earlier maturity and greater yields. The Wapishana or Wapichan (or Wapisiana, Wapitxana, Vapidiana, Wapixana) are an indigenous group found in the Roraima area of northern Brazil and southern Guyana. Patamona
The Patamona are an Amerindian people native to the Pakaraima Mountains of Guyana and northern Brazil.Patamona.

They speak a Cariban languages, Cariban language, Kapóng language, Kapóng, and have often been referred to interchangeably as Akawaio or Ingariko. Patamona are considered a sub-group of Kapon people. There are about 5,000 living members of this and closely related ethnic groups in Guyana. A 1990 population estimate for Guyana was 5500. According to FUNASA, Brazil had 120 Patamona in 2010. Campbelltown, Guyana
Campbelltown is an Amerindian village in the Potaro-Siparuni Region of Guyana, north of Mahdia. The village has been named after Stephen Campbell, the first Amerindian member of Parliament in Guyana. Overview Campbelltown is managed by the village Captain (Toshao), a Vice Captain and five councillors. This community has a population of about 300 persons, being Amerindians and mixed people of part Amerindian descent. Most residents of this village are members of the Patamona tribe, but the village has become mixed with Arawak and Carib tribes. There has been some degree of integration between the Amerindians and Afro-Guyanese and the Brazilian miners. The village has merged with neighbouring Mahdia, and is not listed separately on the census. Even though Mahdia has a town status, Campbelltown is still governed by the Toshao.
