Princess Zoe
Princess Zoe (foaled 11 March 2015) is a German-bred Thoroughbred racehorse. Beginning her racing career as a three-year-old in Germany, she showed modest racing ability, winning two minor events from fifteen starts. After being sold and going into training with Anthony Mullins in Ireland she showed remarkable improvement, winning five consecutive races including the Oyster Stakes and the Prix du Cadran as a five-year-old in 2020. There were no wins the following season but she achieved second place in the Ascot Gold Cup and the Irish St Leger Trial Stakes and in 2022 won the Sagaro Stakes. She was retired from flat racing in October 2022 and in January 2023 won on her first outing over hurdles. Background Princess Zoe is a grey mare bred in Germany by the Hesse-based Gestüt Höny-Hof. Jukebox Jury (foaled 15 February 2006) is an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. A successful and durable international campaigner, he won important races in each of his four seasons of racing and competed in Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Dubai, Ireland and Australia. As a two-year-old in 2008 he showed great promise as he won the Royal Lodge Stakes and was placed in the Racing Post Trophy and Prix La Rochette. He had a delayed start to his second campaign but established himself as a top-class middle-distance performer with wins in the Rose of Lancaster Stakes, Grand Prix de Deauville and Preis von Europa as well as finishing second in the Canadian International Stakes. Ballybrit Race Track, also known as Galway Racecourse, is a horse race course in County Galway, Ireland. It is located in the townland of Ballybrit, in the environs of Castlegar, County Galway, Castlegar, just north of the N6 road (Ireland), N6 Bóthar na dTreabh, c.6 km northeast of Galway city. The track has two stands, the Main Stand and Millennium Stand. The 7-day Galway Races Festival is held here every August. The Curragh Racecourse -- usually referred to as simply the Curragh -- is one of Ireland's most important Thoroughbred racecourses. It is situated on the Curragh plain in County Kildare, between the towns of Newbridge and Kildare. Navan Racecourse is a horse racing venue at Proudstown near Navan, County Meath, Ireland, approximately 48 kilometres from Dublin. The course stages Flat racing but is best known for National Hunt racing. Navan Racecourse is owned by Horse Racing Ireland.
