Princess Robles
Princess Anne Robles (born June 7, 1999) is a Filipino volleyball player. She played with NU Lady Bulldogs women's volleyball team. She is currently playing for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Volleyball career Robles became part of women's volleyball team of National University from 2018 to 2023. In 2019, Robles won best Server in the UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball tournaments. In 2022, Robles and her team National University won against De la Salle University and declared as champions in the UAAP Season 84 women's volleyball tournaments. She also bagged the Finals MVP award. Princess Robles, and her teammates Jen Nierva and Joyme Cagande played their final playing year in the UAAP Season 85. UAAP Season 81
UAAP Season 81 is the 2018–19 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season is hosted by National University. Eight member universities of the UAAP competed in the league's fifteen sports to vie for the general championship. Opening ceremony The opening ceremony was held on September 8, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena with the tagline "It All Begins Here". The ceremony kicked off with an intermission number led by the NU Chorale, NU Underdawgz and the NU Pep Squad. NBA star Stephen Curry made a special appearance and led the oath of sportsmanship for the athletes. Local artists Sponge Cola, James Reid and South Korean singer-songwriter and former 2NE1 member Minzy also performed inside the arena. UAAP Season 85 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 85 volleyball tournaments are the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) volleyball tournaments for the 2022–23 school year. This is the first completed tournament since 2019. The collegiate men's and women's tournaments began on February 25, 2023. The high school boys' and girls' tournaments began earlier on February 13, 2023. This is the first tournament for men's, boys' and girls' since the COVID-19 pandemic. Tournament format The UAAP continued to use the Final Four with an updated format in stepladder prior to the start of Season 85, which was to scrapped the "undue advantage" bestowed to second seed team. The league reverted to its pre-pandemic Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday schedule and protocols such as handshakes and court-side switches between the two teams. UAAP Season 85 was the 2022–23 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Season 85 theme is "Rise as One", and the season host was the Adamson University. With just seven events in Season 84, the collegiate league will be bringing back the full athletic calendar of events for Season 85. The year 2022 will thus hold two UAAP seasons. The 2022 Shakey's Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championship was the inaugural tournament of Shakey's Super League. The tournament was held on September 24 to November 19, 2022, at Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila. It features 18 collegiate teams from the two most prominent collegiate athletics associations in the country — NCAA and UAAP. NU Lady Bulldogs defeated De La Salle Lady Spikers (3–0) in the championship match and crowned as the inaugural champions of the tournament. De La Salle Lady Spikers settled for silver. The Shakey's Super League (SSL) is a women's volleyball league in the Philippines. The league is organized by Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) and the Athletic Events and Sports Management Group Inc. (ACES). The UAAP Season 84 volleyball tournaments was the volleyball event of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for its 2021–22 school year. UAAP Season 84 was the 2021–22 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). The Season 84 theme was "Fully Alive, Champions for Life" and the season's host was the De La Salle University. With the limitations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, UAAP Season 84 only held men's basketball, men's and women's 3×3 basketball, women's volleyball, men's beach volleyball, cheerdance, taekwondo poomsae; and men's and women's chess tournaments as its events for the season.
