UAAP Season 84
UAAP Season 84 was the 2021–22 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). The Season 84 theme was "Fully Alive, Champions for Life" and the season's host was the De La Salle University. With the limitations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, UAAP Season 84 only held men's basketball, men's and women's 3×3 basketball, women's volleyball, men's beach volleyball, cheerdance, taekwondo poomsae; and men's and women's chess tournaments as its events for the season. UST was declared UAAP general champion based on eight sporting events. Only the men's basketball, women's volleyball, and cheerdance were televised. The opening ceremony of Season 84 was presented virtually. A new logo for the UAAP, selected from among the entries of a design competition, was unveiled during the opening ceremony for this season. De La Salle University

NCAA Season 97
NCAA Season 97 is the 2021–22 athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines hosted by De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. Background Colegio de San Juan de Letran's chairman awarded the Head of Sports Varsity and External Relation to the host by giving him the NCAA Flag and to host NCAA Season 97 in the closing ceremony. The Commission on Higher Education held a COVID-19 vaccination drive for the NCAA's student athletes which led the NCAA Management Committee (MANCOM) to seriously consider the return of face-to-face events after solely holding online events in the last season due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. Jason Pagaspas Webb (born September 23, 1973) is a Filipino basketball coach and former basketball player. Playing career Webb played collegiate basketball for the De La Salle Green Archers from 1991 to 1995. After college, he played for Stag/Tanduay in the Philippine Basketball League (1995-1997). Webb began his PBA career in 1997 with the Sta. Lucia Realtors. After two seasons, he played for the Tanduay Rhum Masters (1999-2001). Lewis Alfred Vasquez Tenorio (born July 9, 1984) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). George Isaac Yap Go (born June 7, 1996) is a Filipino-Chinese professional basketball player for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is a three-time UAAP champion with the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Early life and high school career Go wasn't interested in basketball at a young age. Allan Gregorio (born 7 September 1992) is a Brazilian visual artist and portrait photographer. His work has been featured internationally in magazines such as ''Vogue'', ''Attitude Magazine'', '' The Face'' and ''Dazed''. Career Allan Gregorio was born in São Paulo. He became interested in drawing and painting at a young age. At age seventeen, he started working as an assistant for a photographer of his hometown. Joseph Evans "JVee" D. Casio (born September 1, 1986) is a Filipino basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted first overall by the Powerade Tigers in 2011 PBA draft. Early life and high school career Casio started playing basketball at the age of seven.
