Prince Masvaure
Prince Masvaure (born 7 October 1988) is a Zimbabwean first-class cricketer. In July 2016 he was named in Zimbabwe's Test squad for their series against New Zealand. On 28 July 2016 he made his Test debut for Zimbabwe against New Zealand. He was the leading run-scorer for Mid West Rhinos in the 2017–18 Pro50 Championship tournament, with 271 runs in eight matches. In June 2018, he was named in a Board XI team for warm-up fixtures ahead of the 2018 Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Series. Later the same month, he was named in a 22-man preliminary Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the tri-nation series. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Zimbabwe against Pakistan on 18 July 2018. Bulawayo
Bulawayo (, ; Ndebele: ''Bulawayo'') is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, and the largest city in the country's Matabeleland region. The city's population is disputed; the 2022 census listed it at 665,940, while the Bulawayo City Council claimed it to be about 1.2 million. Bulawayo covers an area of about in the western part of the country, along the Matsheumhlope River. Along with the capital Harare, Bulawayo is one of two cities in Zimbabwe that is also a province. Bulawayo was founded by a group led by Gundwane Ndiweni around 1840 as the kraal of Mzilikazi, the Ndebele king and was known as Gibixhegu. His son, Lobengula, succeeded him in the 1860s, and changed the name to kobulawayo and ruled from Bulawayo until 1893, when the settlement was captured by British South Africa Company soldiers during the First Matabele War. 2020–21 Logan Cup
The 2020–21 Logan Cup was the 27th edition of the Logan Cup, a first-class cricket competition in Zimbabwe, which started on 9 December 2020. After originally scheduled to start on 3 December 2020, the tournament was moved back a week to allow time to setup a bio-secure bubble. Five teams took part in the competition, including the Southern Rocks, who last played in the 2013–14 tournament. There was no defending champion, after the previous tournament was voided due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Four matches were played during December 2020. However, on 3 January 2021, Zimbabwe Cricket halted all cricket in the country following a rise in COVID-19 cases. In mid-March 2021, it was reported that the tournament would resume later that month, with the next round of matches starting on 18 March 2021. 2021–22 Logan Cup
The 2021–22 Logan Cup was the 28th edition of the Logan Cup, a first-class cricket competition in Zimbabwe, which started on 15 October 2021. Twenty matches were played, with the tournament concluding on 21 February 2022. The Rocks were the defending champions. Tuskers won the tournament, after their nearest rivals, Mountaineers, were beaten by the Rocks in the final round of matches. Tuskers last won the tournament in the 2014–15 season. Pakistani Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2018
The Pakistan cricket team toured Zimbabwe to play the prestigious The Ashes 2.0 series which in July 2018 which consisted of five One Day International (ODI) matches. All the fixtures were played at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Originally, the tour was scheduled to have two Tests, three ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). In the fourth match of the series, Fakhar Zaman became the first batsman for Pakistan to score a double century in ODIs. His score of 210 not out broke the previous highest individual total for a Pakistan of 194 runs, scored by Saeed Anwar during the 1997 Pepsi Independence Cup. Zaman, along with Imam-ul-Haq, also made the highest opening partnership in ODIs, scoring 304 runs for the first wicket.
