Prince Jeongwon
Wonjong of Joseon or Prince Jeongwon (2 August 1580 – 2 February 1619) was a prince during the Joseon dynasty. He was a son by a concubine to the Joseon dynasty's 14th monarch, king Seonjo, and half brother of king Gwanghaegun and father of king Injo. His birth name was Yi Bu (이부, 李琈). He first held the title of Prince Jeongwon (定遠君, 정원군) and later re-titled as Grand Internal Prince Jeongwon (定遠大院君, 정원대원군). In 1592, during the Japanese invasions of Korea, he escaped with his father, King Seonjo and awarded in 1604 in recognition of helping the king to escape. Hadong Budaebuin
Grand Internal Princess Consort Hadong (Hangul: 하동부대부인 정씨, Hanja: 河東府大夫人 鄭氏; 23 September 1522 – 24 June 1567), of the Hadong Jeong clan, was a Korean Joseon dynasty royal family member though her marriage with Grand Internal Prince Deokheung, the son of Jungjong of Joseon and Royal Consort Chang of Ansan Ahn clan, and the biological mother of Seonjo of Joseon. Queen Munjeong
Queen Munjeong (Hangul: 문정왕후, Hanja: 文定王后; 2 December 1501 – 5 May 1565), of the Papyeong Yun clan, was a posthumous name bestowed to the wife and third queen consort of Yi Yeok, King Jungjong. She was queen consort of Joseon from 1517 until her husband's death in 1544, after which she was honoured as Queen Dowager Seongryeol (성렬왕대비) during the reign of her step-son, Yi Ho, King Injong. She was honored as Grand Queen Dowager Seongryeol (성렬대왕대비) during the reign of her son, Yi Hwan, King Myeongjong. Queen Munjeong acted as regent during the minority of her son between 1545 and 1553. Heo Nanseolheon
Heo Nanseolheon (1563 – 19 March 1589), was a Korean painter and poet of the mid-Joseon dynasty. She was the younger sister of Heo Bong, a politician and political writer, and elder to Heo Gyun, a prominent writer of the time and credited as the author of '' The Tale of Hong Gildong''. Queen Myeongseong
Queen Myeongseong (13 June 1642 – 21 January 1684) (명성왕후 김씨) of the Cheongpung Kim clan, was a posthumous name bestowed to the wife and queen consort of Yi Yeon, King Hyeonjong, the 18th Joseon monarch. She was queen consort of Joseon from 1659 until her husband's death in 1674, after which she was honoured as Royal Queen Dowager Hyeonryeol (현렬왕대비). Queen Ingyeong (인경왕후 김씨; 25 October 1661 − 16 December 1680), of the Gwangsan Kim clan, was a posthumous name bestowed to the wife and first queen consort of Yi Sun, King Sukjong, the 19th Joseon monarch.
