Prince Heinrich Of Bavaria (1922–1958)
Prince Heinrich of Bavaria (german: Heinrich Franz Wilhelm Prinz von Bayern) (28 March 1922 – 14 February 1958) was a member of the Bavarian royal House of Wittelsbach. Prince Heinrich was born at Schloss Hohenburg in Bavaria and was the eldest child and only son (followed by daughters) from the marriage of Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria and his second wife, Princess Antonia of Luxembourg. On 31 July 1951, Prince Heinrich married Anne Marie de Lustrac (27 September 1927 in Neuilly-sur-Seine – 16 August 1999 in Milan), daughter of Baron Jean de Lustrac, French Army officer and decorated World War I veteran, and his American wife, Helen Reid, daughter of Fergus Reid of Norfolk, Virginia. The ceremony took place in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on the Basque coast in France. The couple did not have any children together. The prince was a Knight of the Order of Saint Hubert. Ferdinand Karl Viktor (20 July 1821 – 15 December 1849) was Archduke of Austria-Este and Prince of Modena. Biography Born in Modena, he was the second son of Francis IV of Modena and his niece-consort Maria Beatrice of Savoy. William IV (Guillaume Alexander; ''French: Guillaume Alexandre''; 22 April 1852 – 25 February 1912) reigned as the Grand Duke of Luxembourg from 17 November 1905 until his death. Maria Theresa Henriette Dorothea of Austria-Este (2 July 1849 – 3 February 1919) was the last Queen of Bavaria. She was the only child of Archduke Ferdinand Karl Viktor of Austria-Este and Archduchess Elisabeth Franziska of Austria. Biography On 20 February 1868, she married Prince Ludwig, eldest son of Bavaria's Prince Regent Luitpold, in the Augustinerkirche in Vienna. The couple had fallen in love during a visit of Ludwig to Austria to attend the burial of Archduchess Mathilda. Ludwig III (Ludwig Luitpold Josef Maria Aloys Alfried; 7 January 1845 – 18 October 1921) was the last King of Bavaria, reigning from 1913 to 1918. Initially he served in the Bavarian military as a lieutenant and went on to hold the rank of Oberleutnant during the Austro-Prussian War.
