Prime Minister One Day Cup
The Prime Minister Cup One-Day Cricket Tournament (PM Cup) ( ne, प्रधानमन्त्री एकदिवसीय कप) is a one-day cricket tournament in Nepal organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal. It was formerly administered by the National Sports Council while CAN was suspended. It was played amongst 8 teams in 2017 and is played amongst 10 teams from 2018 onward. History The National Sports Council organised the Prime Minister Cup in 2017 due to the suspension of the Cricket Association of Nepal by the International Cricket Council. A domestic one-day cricket tournament had not been held in the country for three years due to conflicts within the board which eventually led to its suspension. It replaced the National League Cricket as the premier domestic cricket tournament in Nepal, alongside the Manmohan Memorial National One-Day Cup. Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi ( Nepali: ललित नारायण राजवंशी, born 27 February 1999) is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut for Nepal against Zimbabwe in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier on 4 March 2018. Raju Rijal (born 26 September 1996) is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 April 2016 against Namibia. Sompal Kami ( ne, सोमपाल कामी; born 2 February 1996) is a Nepalese professional cricketer. Kami is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He is one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. In January 2019, he became the first bowler for Nepal to take a five-wicket haul in an ODI match. Nepal Army Club, also known as Tribhuwan Army Club, is the departmental Army sporting club of Nepal and is based in Kathmandu. In cricket they play top domestic league National League Cricket, and in Prime Minister One Day Cup whereas in football they currently play in the top division of the country Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. Sudurpashchim Province ( ne, सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश; '')'' is one of the seven Provinces of Nepal, provinces established by the Constitution of Nepal, new constitution of Nepal which was adopted on 20 September 2015. Lumbini Province ( ne, लुम्बिनी प्रदेश, Lumbinī pradēśa) is a province in western Nepal. It borders Gandaki Province and Karnali Province to the north, Sudurpashchim Province to the west, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of India to the south.
