Pretzel Flipz
Flipz is a type of confectionery created by Nestlé in 1997, consisting of salted pretzels covered in chocolate and other coatings. Originally produced by Nestle in 1997 and made with Rold Gold pretzels, the brand was purchased by DeMet's Candy Company in 2003 and has been produced under DeMet's ownership since that time. DeMet's has added a number of additional flavors to the original Milk Chocolate flavor. In 2013, DeMet's was sold to Yıldız Holding. TV commercials for Flipz began in 1997 with the tagline "What's Your Excuse?" Rold Gold
Rold Gold refers to first a company and then a remaining brand of pretzels, now owned by Frito-Lay. The company, originally named "American Cone and Pretzel Company", was founded in 1917 by Philadelphia businessman Lorraine Schumaker. Run for its first half century as a family business, Rold Gold expanded its operations to St. Louis, Missouri, and El Segundo, California, and established a reputation for producing pretzels. From 1921 until 1955, the company also owned the Continental Packing Company, a pimento canning plant located near Macon, Georgia, but sold that part of the business in 1955, in response to increasing competition from overseas canners. The Schumaker family sold Rold Gold to Red Dot Foods Inc. of Madison, Wisconsin, in 1960, but the deal fell through when Red Dot went bankrupt and its principal owner committed suicide. Greg Lee (actor)
Greg Lee (born March 3, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian. Biography Lee was born in Hebron, Nebraska. He attended York College in York, Nebraska, and Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City in the early 1980s. Lee co-hosted (with Molly Scott) Nickelodeon's variety show ''Total Panic'' from 1989 to 1990. From 1990 to 1991, he stayed on Nickelodeon to be an announcer for another show, ''Outta Here!''
