''Pressure & Time'' is the second studio album by American rock band Rival Sons. It was released on June 20, 2011, in the UK and was released in the United States on June 28, 2011, through UK independent label Earache Records. The cover artwork was designed by Storm Thorgerson, who had worked for Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd before. A music video has been released for title track "Pressure & Time", which features the band performing in different backgrounds. The title track was also used as the theme song of the 2013 action-adventure game, action-adventure video game ''Ride to Hell: Retribution'', was featured in the movie Swearnet: The Movie, Swearnet and in the commercial for the 2024 Chevrolet Chevrolet Silverado, Silverado (reference needed). Rival Sons
Rival Sons is an American rock band formed in Long Beach, California, in 2009. The band consists of Jay Buchanan (lead vocals), Scott Holiday (guitar), Dave Beste (bass guitar) and Michael Miley (drums). They are joined by keyboard player Todd Ögren when touring. They are signed to Atlantic Records via Dave Cobb's label Low Country Sound, an imprint of Elektra. They have released six albums and one EP. Jeremiah Weed is a brand of bourbon whiskey-based products. The Jeremiah Weed brand is owned and marketed by Diageo. Range Their offerings include a 90 proof blended whiskey distilled in Kentucky, and a bourbon-based 100-proof liqueur manufactured in Connecticut. In 2011, Jeremiah Weed entered the flavored malt beverages market with five blends, three marketed in the U.S. and two in the UK. The U.S.-market blends are 5.8% ABV, and the UK-market blends are 4.0% ABV. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Top Heatseekers are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers may also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Scott Holiday
Scott Holiday is the guitarist of the rock and roll band Rival Sons. He is from Huntington Beach, California. Musical career Scott's first successful band was Human Lab, who signed a deal in 2000 with Atlantic Records that was negotiated by Ian Montone (manager of Jack White). The band wrote and recorded a debut album with producers Michael Beinhorn and Mark "Spike" Stent in Henson studios, Los Angeles and Olympic studios, UK, but the album was never released. Searching for a more visceral, dangerous sound, and after leaving Atlantic Records in 2004 Scott Holiday started a new band with Thomas Flowers of Oleander and J. Harley Gilmore (Weylon Krieger, Blu Cantrell) called Black Summer Crush in 2005. Gilmore departed in early 2006, leaving Holiday/Flowers in search for a rhythm section. "Hush" is a song written by American composer and musician Joe South, for recording artist Billy Joe Royal. The song was later covered by Somebody's Image (an Australian band fronted by Russell Morris) in 1967. It reached #15. It was also covered by Deep Purple in 1968 and by Kula Shaker in 1997. Each artist had a Top 5 hit with their version. Billy Joe Royal version Billy Joe Royal recorded "Hush" on 12 July 1967 in Nashville with Barry Bailey, future lead guitarist for the Atlanta Rhythm Section, on guitar. Joe South, Royal's regular songwriter/producer, was travelling to Nashville with Royal and writing "Rose Garden" in the car. Royal didn't like it, so South wrote "Hush" for him while leaning on the dashboard.
