President Of The Polytechnic University Of The Philippines
The president of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines ( fil, Pangulo ng Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas) is the principal executive officer of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The president oversees the policy implementation, guide the institution towards the realization of its vision-mission, as well as monitor and administer the overall affairs of the university, and is the vice-chairman of its Board of Regents. Republic Act No. 8292, formed in 1996, establishes the powers, and appointment of the President of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Manuel Muhi, is the 13th and current president of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Manuel "Bong" M. Muhi (born December 22, 1966) is a Filipino civil engineer and educator who is the incumbent President of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The enhanced community quarantine in Luzon was a series of stay-at-home orders and ''cordon sanitaire'' measures implemented by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on the island of Luzon and its associated islands. It is part of the COVID-19 community quarantines in the Philippines, a larger scale of COVID-19 containment measures with varying degrees of strictness. Nemesio Prudente
Nemesio E. Prudente (December 19, 1927 – March 28, 2008) was an educator, political activist, and human rights defender revered for serving as President of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Prudente is credited with revitalizing public education in the Philippines by institutionalizing much-needed changes in the state university he led, which will eventually become the largest state university.
