Prempeh I (Otumfuo Nana Prempeh I; 18 December 1870 – 12 May 1931) was the thirteenth king ruler of the Ashanti Empire and the Oyoko Abohyen Dynasty. Prempeh II (Otumfuo Nana Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II, KBE, – 27 May 1970), was the 14th Asantehene, or king of the Ashanti (Ruler of the Asante), reigning from 22 June 1931 to 27 May 1970. Prempeh College
Prempeh College is a public secondary boarding school for boys located in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region, Ghana. The school was founded in 1949 by the Asanteman traditional authority, the British Colonial Government, the Methodist Church Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The School is named after the King of Ashanti, (Asantehene) Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II, who donated the land on which the school was built. and was modeled on Eton College in England. The school topped matriculation at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2004 with 441 students admitted and in 2012, with 296 students from the college admitted, and is considered to be one of the best secondary schools in Ghana. The School has won the National Robotics Championships a record five times between 2013 and 2021. Jerry Prempeh (born 29 December 1988 in Kumasi) is a Ghanaian footballer. He currently plays for Swift Hesperange. Career Prempeh began his career with Le Mée Sports Football and signed with Troyes AC in 2003. He made five senior caps for Troyes AC and was released in summer 2009, to sign for FK Mladá Boleslav. In November 2009 resign his contract with FK Mladá Boleslav and signed with US Sénart-Moissy. After one season left on 23 June 2010 his club US Sénart-Moissy and signed with R.E. Virton. After just one season left R.E. Virton and joined to Swiss lower League club FC Fribourg.
