Premonition (2007 Film)
''Premonition'' is a 2007 American supernatural thriller film directed by Mennan Yapo and starring Sandra Bullock in the lead role, Julian McMahon, Nia Long and Amber Valletta. The film's plot depicts a homemaker named Linda who experiences the days surrounding her husband's death in a non-chronological order, and how she attempts to save him from his impending doom. Plot Jim and Linda Hanson are married with two daughters, Megan and Bridgette, but their relationship is faltering. Jim is away on a business trip and Linda has just listened to a phone message from him when Sheriff Reilly knocks on the door and informs her that Jim died in a car accident the previous day. Linda's mother Joanne arrives to help the family, and Linda falls asleep on the living-room couch. Mennan Yapo
Mennan Yapo (born 1966) is a German film director, director, screenwriter, film producer, producer and actor. Born in Munich to Turkish parents, Yapo has been in the film business since 1988, working in various assistant jobs and as a publicist at first. From 1995, Yapo worked as a screenwriter and producer, as well as a supporting actor (in Peter Greenaway's ''The Pillow Book (film), The Pillow Book'', 1996, and Wolfgang Becker (director, born 1954), Wolfgang Becker's ''Good Bye Lenin!'', 2003). 1999 marked Yapo's first outing as a director. Minden is a city and parish seat in Webster Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is located twenty-eight miles east of Shreveport. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 13,082. History Minden was established in 1836 by Charles Veeder. Native sons include Gene Austin and Louis Dunbar. The town's name is derived from the German city of Minden. During the Civil War, a large Confederate encampment was located inside of Minden. It housed about 15,000 Confederate soldiers. The town served as a supply depot for the Confederate Army.
